The aim is to impart knowledge about the EU and European values and to bring the EU motto "United in diversity" to life. On Europe Day in Vienna, we have been organizing a large street festival on Austria's largest shopping street for the past three years. In cooperation with embassies and the diaspora of various European countries (EU countries and candidate countries), there is a colorful cultural program on a stage (singing, dancing, etc.) and information stands where countries and EU projects are presented. Another focus of the association is the strengthening of democracy in Europe with an emphasis on the fight against disinformation and propaganda. We also organize demonstrations, e.g. after the 2020 elections in Belarus, Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, etc. Another focus is EU enlargement. We organize panel discussions, exhibitions etc. to inform and educate about the countries and the current situation. Separate associations were founded for Ukraine, Kosovo, Moldova and Montenegro with representatives of the respective diaspora in order to work even more intensively on these countries. Ukraine goes Europe - President Moldova goes Europe - President Montenegro goes Europe - President all 3: organization of events to impart knowledge about the respective country in Austria and to increase support for EU membership; like Kosovo goes Europe, they are associations associated with Vienna goes Europe. There is no legal connection. Vienna goes Europe supports EU enlargement, the associations for specific countries focus on activities relating to these countries together with persons from Diaspora of these countries. All associations are independent. There is no legal or de facto association structure.

Additional Information

The association has been registered in Austria since 1.7.2023. There has been no income or expenditure to date. The fee for opening the association of EUR 22.10 was paid privately by the founder. The work of the association is done exclusively on a voluntary basis.
