Mission & Goals
The Finnish Cosmetic and Hygiene Industry Association (Kosmetiikka- ja hygieniateollisuus ry) is a Finnish trade association representing the interests of companies manufacturing, importing and/or distributing perfumery, cosmetic and toiletry products, detergents and cleaning products for consumers and professionals, and for institutional & industrial use. Our mission is to proactively promote industry appreciation and business environment. The strategic themes are (1) a predictable operational environment, (2) an important part of society and (3) a comfortable and safe life. The first theme covers scientific & regulatory issues as well as advocacy. The second and the third theme cover reputation building, communication about the socio-economic significance of the two sectors and promotion of product safety.
