Mission & Goals
Korea Future is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation investigating human rights violations in North Korea in support of accountability and justice.
EU Legislative Interests
Our aim is to influence EU's policies regarding the North Korean human rights issues. We are planning to engage with the Korean Peninsula delegation, political groups, and the Members of the European Parliament to explore any opportunities of resolution regarding the North Korean human rights issues, or any relevant thematic human rights issues in the European Parliament. We are planning to engage with other committees, including the Sub-Committee on Human Rights and Committee on Foreign Affairs, to influence their reports and policies regarding the DPRK. We would also look into engage with the European External Action Service to provide them with our data to support their policy-making and engagement with the Korean Peninsula.
Communication Activities
Our communication activities will be centred around formal/informal meetings with the Korean Peninsula delegation, political groups, Members of the European Parliament, and Committees to share our findings and explore possible avenues of collaboration. We would also like to explore possibilities to reflect our findings and recommendations in reports and statements of stakeholders mentioned above.
