Mission & Goals
KomshiLOOK is a cultural association dedicated to building good neighborly relations through art. The name combines komshi—neighbor—and look—an invitation to see more closely. Our vision is simple: every neighbor deserves to be seen, every street has a story, and every look can become a relationship. We transform everyday spaces into stages for cultural exchange. Art becomes a tool for dialogue, strengthening community bonds, and bridging differences of age, background, or ethnicity. Our remit is twofold: to democratize culture by making it accessible in people’s immediate surroundings, and to support social change by fostering empathy, inclusiveness, and participation. Through festivals, workshops, and site-specific performances we activate neglected spaces, celebrate traditions, and connect them with contemporary creativity. Guided by the idea that being a good neighbor means being a good citizen, KomshiLOOK preserves heritage while opening space for new cultural visions.
