Mission & Goals
Kolo Ventures is a Western Balkans based venture capital fund focused on scaling AI-native startups across real-economy sectors including healthcare, logistics, education, infrastructure, energy, and industry. Our mission is to drive the digital and green transition of the region by anchoring innovation, retaining tech talent, and enhancing access to capital. Kolo Ventures aims to build globally competitive companies that integrate into EU value chains while attracting international investment and supporting cross-border scale. We are committed to impact-driven investment strategies aligned with EU objectives, particularly those that support regional competitiveness, innovation, and sustainable development.

Our fund is currently being established. While our LLC exists, the full organisational structure, including memberships, affiliations, sponsorships, and contributions to external entities, is still in the process of being formed. Additional Information
In February 2025, Kolo Ventures secured a €5 million investment commitment through the Serbia Ventures program, an initiative led by the Serbian Innovation Fund to support early-stage innovation. This is not a grant, but an investment commitment that will be unlocked upon the fulfilment of pre-agreed conditions set by the program. Funds will be deployed once these criteria are met, in line with Serbia Ventures' framework for supporting early-stage investment funds. The commitment strengthens our capital base as we establish Kolo Ventures Fund I, a €40 million fund focused on scaling AI-native companies from the Western Balkans into global markets. Although our official fundraising campaign launches in May 2025, we have already secured an additional €2 million in commitments from high-net-worth individuals, further validating the strength of our strategy and network.
