Mission & Goals

KlimaUnion gGmbH advocates for ambitious, scientifically sound, and nonpartisan climate policy and is committed to the Paris climate goals. The goal of the gGmbH is to develop viable solutions for the decarbonization of Germany and to promote a constructive culture of debate on climate policy. KlimaUnion gGmbH has been registered as a non-profit organization since February 11, 2025. We develop strategies across all CO₂-intensive sectors such as energy, industry, transportation, and agriculture, and are committed to a sustainable market-based transformation. In addition to our substantive work, our goal is to bring together political decision-makers, companies, and scientists to develop cross-sector solutions. Through dialogue formats, events, and educational initiatives, we aim to raise public awareness of climate protection at the political and societal level. We rely on scientific expertise and non-partisan dialogue to shape effective, sustainable, and long-term climate policy.
