Mission & Goals
Kernel Holding S.A. is a leading agro-industrial group based in Ukraine with a vertically integrated business model spanning crop farming, oilseed processing, grain storage, logistics, and exports. The company cultivates over 350,000 hectares of farmland, primarily growing corn, sunflower, and wheat. It is the world’s largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil, with an annual processing capacity exceeding 3.5 million tons. Kernel also operates Ukraine’s largest private grain elevator network and owns deep-sea export terminals on the Black Sea. Its products are exported to more than 60 countries, including key markets in the EU, Middle East, and Asia. The Group integrates sustainability across operations through biomass energy generation, low-emission farming, and support for partner farmers. In FY2024, Kernel reported over USD 3.5 billion in revenue and USD 381 million in EBITDA.
EU Legislative Interests
To support the implementation of the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF), the optimal use of the available funds for priority projects and the participation of Ukrainian and EU/EEA companies, the European Commission is launching a second Call for Expressions of Interest from Ukrainian and EU/EEA businesses to invest in Ukraine in line with EU strategic areas of interest and policy priorities. The Company intends to present its investment projects under the Call. One of the elegilibilty requirement under the Call is that all participating companies must indicate their EU Transparency registration number. Other than participation in the Call, the Company did not target neither intends to target EU legislative proposals or policies. The Company's activity in the EU is limited to commercial activity and export of its products to the EU.
