Mission & Goals
Kelkoo is a comparison shopping service with over 20 years of experience in e-commerce, digital advertising and consumer analytics. The business was created to bring together products from retailers to enable consumers to compare shopping choices and find the best deals. It is part of Kelkoo Group which includes the LeGuide group and operates proprietary brands Kelkoo.com, Leguide.com and Ciao.com. We have been lobbying for fundamental change and fairness in global digital markets since 2012. We were one of the lead complainants in the Google Shopping case in Europe and a strong proponent of the Digital Markets Act. We are in regular dialogue with global regulators who are keen to restore fair and contestable digital markets.

Communication Activities
Kelkoo Group has a Legal and Policy function tasked with communicating our views on legal, regulatory and policy matters. Our programme is two pronged; a) restoring choice and competition for consumers and creating a level playing field for small businesses in digital markets and b) calling for effective enforcement of the Google Shopping and Adsense Decisions and the Digital Markets Act. We maintain contact with the European Commission at key points and are also in contact with the European Parliament. We have participated in the Commission's DMA Workshops and provided our views to the DMA team on Google's compliance with the DMA. We have also written to EVP Vestager and Commissioner Breton in the previous Commission, and to EVP Ribera and Commissioner Virkkunen in this Commission, on the same subjects.
