EU Legislative Interests
To remove uncertainty in terms of the interpretation of the AI-Act and maximize the potential of AI in the job markets, we urge the AI Office and the AI Board to clarify the scope of the AI Act in the High-Risk Guidelines. Moreover, we invite the AI Office and the AI Board to consider that only AI systems which (i) are used by recruiters to select candidates and (ii) materially influence hiring decisions should fall under this high-risk category. These are the ones carrying the true high risks for fundamental rights.
