EU Legislative Interests

As a consultancy engaging in the areas of visa and consular services, pension systems, government procurement, and lobbying, with a strong focus on AI and digital transformation, we aim to align our activities with the following key EU legislative proposals and policies: Visa and Consular Services Schengen Visa Code (Regulation (EC) No 810/2009): We support the modernisation of visa procedures through AI-driven solutions, such as automated application processing and fraud detection, to enhance efficiency and security in consular services across the Schengen Area. EU Digital Consular Services: Under the Digital Single Market strategy and the EU eGovernment Action Plan, we advocate for the adoption of digital tools like e-visa platforms and AI-powered chatbots to streamline consular operations, improving user experience and operational efficiency. New Pact on Migration and Asylum (2020): We engage with policies promoting secure and efficient visa processing, leveraging AI for data analytics and risk assessment to support migration management while ensuring compliance with EU standards. Pension Systems EU Social Security Coordination (Regulation (EC) No 883/2004): We promote AI-enabled biometric verification systems to ensure accurate pension distribution and combat fraud for pensioners residing abroad, enhancing cross-border social security coordination. Digital Transformation in Pension Administration: Aligning with the EU’s Digital Decade 2030 goals, we advocate for the integration of AI and blockchain technologies to improve transparency, security, and efficiency in pension system management, reducing administrative burdens. Government Procurement EU Public Procurement Directives (e.g., Directive 2014/24/EU): We support the inclusion of AI and digital transformation criteria in public procurement processes, advocating for policies that prioritise innovative, technology-driven solutions in tender evaluations. e-Procurement Initiatives: Under the EU’s eGovernment strategies, we promote the adoption of AI-powered platforms for procurement, enabling real-time analytics and automated compliance checks to enhance transparency and efficiency in public-sector outsourcing. Lobbying and Policy Advocacy EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689): We engage with this framework to ensure AI applications in visa, consular, and pension services comply with ethical and regulatory standards, advocating for policies that foster innovation while safeguarding data privacy. Digital Europe Programme (2021-2027): We support initiatives under this programme to advance AI and digital infrastructure, promoting policies that facilitate the deployment of AI-driven solutions in public administration for enhanced service delivery. Our consultancy is committed to leveraging AI and digital transformation to drive innovation in these sectors, aligning with the EU’s strategic priorities for a secure, efficient, and digitally advanced public sector.
