EU Legislative Interests
Food and nutrition for pets Agriculture, mainly sugar policy - production issues and EU intervention. This includes agri-practice and pesticide use. Other direct issues from sugar are energy and health issues. Environmental sustainablility Consumer Affairs, especially involving tourism, timeshare and package travel - but overlapping issues in data protection, consumer credit and most recently Covid implications. Fisheries from third countries. International Trade issues in general, including EU/UK relations.
