Mission & Goals
ITS Norway is a membership organization for all actors in Norway's mobility and transport sector. The network of almost 100 members covers passengers and freight operations in all modes: sea, air, rail, and road. The association's vision is to use ICT technology for Smarter, Safer, and Cleaner transportation. The association's main objective is to provide meeting places for its members to enhance competence, create projects, and find business partners. ITS Norway works with policymakers, government authorities, research institutes, and universities to foster and expand the knowledge base and stimulate education within the ITS sector. ITS Norway's activities are framed by trends like automated vehicles/vessels, cooperative systems, charging systems, and mobility services. The association runs platforms, arranging conferences and expert networks like Maritime ITS and AUFORA. ITS Norway is a member of several associations, such as CCAM, ALICE, IEC, ISO, Nordic+, and ITS Nationals.

Communication Activities
Our communication activities have mainly been part of several large projects/EU projects aimed at Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), automatization, and maritime ITS. The EU projects give us opportunities to disseminate through seminars, articles, scientific papers, workshops and white papers. Cooperation with DG MOVE on arranging the International Ship Autonomy and Sustainability Summit
