Mission & Goals
UNIRE is the first national umbrella organization of local refugee-led organizations, communities and individuals in Italy that is aimed at advocating refugees rights and their active participation in policy-making processes in local, national, European and global level. It focuses on promoting self-representation and auto-narration of refugees in public debates.

Communication Activities
UNIRE is member of the promoting committee of Io accolgo campaignhttp://ioaccolgo.it/. UNIRE has implemented the "For a common cause" project in italian national context to raise awarness among the refugee communities about the their active partecipation in the host society.
