Mission & Goals
Takasbank was established in 1992 as a joint stock company by Borsa İstanbul as being subject to the provisions of Turkish Commercial Code in order to provide clearing, settlement and custody services in the capital markets. Having been authorized as a central clearing and settlement institution, as a development and investment bank and as a payment system operator, Takasbank is currently supervised and overseen by Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB), the Banking and Regulation Agency and the Central Bank of Republic of Türkiye related to its different services.
