Mission & Goals
IPMONT was founded in 2010 by investors with decades of experience in the field of telecommunications. They transferred their experiences to a company that is recognizable for the quality of its services, competitiveness and commitment to its users. IPMONT is registered with the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services in the register of operators for the following services: Voice transmission over networks based on the Internet Protocol, Internet access, Leased line services and Leasing of optical fibers - Dark Fiber. Our company's mission is to offer reliable services at competitive prices and quality support on the domestic telecommunications market, in conditions of strong competition. Our vision is to be recognized in the coming period as an operator with a rounded set of services that demanding business users need.
EU Legislative Interests
IPMONT d.o.o. has recently focused its interest representation activities on the following EU legislative proposals and policy initiatives: Directive (EU) 2018/1972 establishing the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC), which sets the framework for electronic communications networks and services. Regulation (EU) 2021/694 establishing the Digital Europe Programme, aiming to reinforce the EU’s digital capacities and infrastructure. Proposal for a Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (AI Act) – COM(2021) 206 final, focusing on harmonized rules for AI within the EU. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR). Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Digital Programme, supporting the deployment of digital infrastructure across the EU. These policies are relevant to the company’s work in providing advanced telecommunication services, expanding digital infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with EU digital regulations.
Communication Activities
IPMONT d.o.o. has not yet established direct contacts with EU institutions but actively monitors relevant EU policy developments through participation in regional information events, webinars, and public consultations related to digital infrastructure and telecommunications. The company also disseminates EU policy updates and funding opportunities to local partners and stakeholders in Montenegro, particularly in the context of the Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans and pre-accession assistance programs (IPA).
