EU Legislative Interests

The Investor Alliance for Human Rights, as a coalition of investors based in 21 countries, is following the development of the Sustainable Corporate Governance Initiative, including mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence legislation via the CSDDD, and the development of a Social Taxonomy, CSRD, and SFDR. The Investor Alliance has provided investor input into CSDDD and the Social Taxonomy. In addition, the Investor Alliance has provided informal input into the review of the CSRD. We continue to track EU regulatory developments around sustainable finance and growth on behalf of our investor membership.

Communication Activities

The Investor Alliance for Human Rights will be following the legislation on disclosures and due diligence. In order to keep the 240+ members of the Investor Alliance educated about developments, we plan to provide guidance documents, education, and webinars for institutional investors on policies impacting human rights.
