Mission & Goals
Promote the open, free and bottom-up development of the internet. Ensure that Bulgaria and other countries have Internet-friendly legislation.
EU Legislative Interests
Copyright, internet (net neutrality, etc.), tackling fake news (our chair was in 2018 a member of the HLEG on fake news and online disinformation to the European Commission, and we had two projects in 2020-2021 against covid-19 related disinformation), children online protection, fighting extremism and hate language online. ISOC Bulgaria is co-organizer of the Big Brother Anti-Awards, Bulgarian edition.
