Mission & Goals
IZA is an association representing leading mining companies, zinc smelters, semi-fabricators, downstream users and recyclers. IZA activities in Europe are focused on environmental, health, safety and sustainability aspects related to mining, refining, processing, use and recycling of zinc and some compounds.
EU Legislative Interests
ETS, CBAM REACH, CLP, Cosmetics Regulation, Food Contact Material and implementation of 'nano' notion in all EU regulations. Industrial Emissions Directive, Waste Framework Directive, Water Framework Directive, Soil Law, Carcinogens, Mutagens and Reprotoxicity Directive; RoHS Directive, Critical Raw Materials
