Mission & Goals
IWTO is the recognized global authority for standards in the wool textile industry, and since 1930, IWTO has represented the interests of the global wool trade. IWTO's membership encompasses the entire wool textile pipeline, from farm to retail, and is present in 26 countries. Through the membership, IWTO facilitates wool research and development, textile education and knowledge sharing.

Communication Activities
IWTO's Sustainable Practices Working Group oversees ongoing research projects related to wool and sustainability. We hold two events, an annual Congress and Wool Round Table, highlighting developments and research results, each year.
