Mission & Goals
INFORSE - International Network for Sustainable Energy INFORSE-Europe lobbies to promote sustainable energy solutions - renewable energy and energy efficiency - which utilise decentralised approaches. All activities seek to protect the environment, and to achieve development. The members are NGOs working on grassroots level as well as on national, regional and international levels, all united on a common strategy for a long-term sustainable development with phasing out of nuclear and fossil energy use. The INFORSE network is facilitating practical and political exchange of experiences among NGOs, liaising with concerned multilateral agencies, creating political and public awareness, and seeking support for NGO activities.
EU Legislative Interests
Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Directives, internal energy markets with focus on energy communities, Climate and energy policy including EU Green Deal and 2030 targets, international climate negotiations and agreements.
Communication Activities
Commenting on Ecodesign regulation together with other organisations in the Coolproducts Campaign Promote transition to renewable energy, nationally and on EU-level, to pave the way for EU energy and climate targets and policies. Publish Sustainable Energy News. EU policy pages on website www.inforse.org/europe Seminars and events together with members, nationally an on EU level (in 2017, 2021, and 2023 in general one European seminar/event each second year, 3 national events each year including. This includes in 2018, 2019, and 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 participation in the EU Sustainable Energy Week. Sustainable energy scenarios as the CLEVER energy scenario.

INFORSE-Europe is one of the regions of INFORSE. INFORSE-Europe is following the INFORSE Charter, but it has its own bylaws and it is independently registered. INFORSE-Europe is working together on the Ecodesign Directive with other NGOs and is founding member of the Coolproducts Campaign. INFORSE-Europe participates in the Community Energy Coalition with other promoters of local, sustainable energy solutions

INFORSE-Europe also received public finance from Danish and Nordic sources as well as member contributions, each source below 10% of budget. The board is elected by the members and do not received wage from INFORSE-Europe for their activities
