Mission & Goals
In 1973 the global fragrance industry came together to form a new international association. The purpose of the Association is to serve and advance the collective interests of the fragrance industry, worldwide, with the final objective to protect the consumer and the environment.
EU Legislative Interests
EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS); Industrial Strategy/ Transition Pathway for the Chemical Industry; Chemicals revision (CLP and REACH); Sustainability developments (CSRD, CSDD); Cosmetic products Regulation; Detergents Regulation; Toy Safety Directive; Safe and Sustainable by Design; ESPR; Green Claims.
Communication Activities
Awareness and understanding building events. Engaged in supporting the implementation of EU ambitions on the European Clean Industrial and legislative developments related to chemicals and downstream products, bringing expertise and knowledge from the fragrance industry. Engaged on Safe and sustainable by Design, and initiatives related to the Circular Economy Action Plan.
