Organisation Members
The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is not a membership‑based organisation and does not have members (individual or institutional). IDRC is a Canadian federal Crown corporation, established by an Act of Parliament in 1970. It operates as a public institution, not as an association, federation, or network with members. IDRC is governed by a Board of Governors, whose Chair reports to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Governors are appointed; they are not members, and their role is governance rather than affiliation. IDRC does not have affiliated entities in a legal or corporate sense (e.g. subsidiaries, chapters, or member organisations).
