Mission & Goals
ICMM is a leadership organisation that through collaboration seeks to enhance the contribution of mining and metals to sustainable development' by enabling ambitious collective action that drives performance improvement at scale, be it with regard to strengthening human right, environmental resilience, climate action, tailings management, material stewardship, transparency, or health & safety.
EU Legislative Interests
Raw materials policies (e.g. EU Critical Raw Materials Act), responsible mining policies, circular economy initiatives, certain chemicals policies and initiatives, sustainable finance (incl. EU Taxonomy), and certain energy policies and initiatives.
