Mission & Goals
The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) has the mission to develop and test evidence-based solutions to mitigate AMR in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). Working in partnership with LMICs, ICARS uses intervention and implementation research to support the countries to develop context-specific and cost-effective solutions thereby advancing the implementation of their AMR National Action Plans (NAPs), and hence contributing to uptake of evidence and innovation and to bridging the gap between policy and practice.
