Mission & Goals

ICMC is an international non-governmental organisation that serves & protects uprooted people, refugees, internally displaced persons & migrants worldwide, regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality. Its Brussels office, ICMC Europe, advances this mission at the EU level by promoting the rights of refugees & migrants, fostering safe pathways for people in need of protection, & supporting the reception & inclusion of newcomers in Europe. As coordinator of Share Network, ICMC Europe provides a platform for mutual exchange & learning in national, local & regional actors working on refugee & migrant inclusion & safe pathways, linking local initiatives, sharing promising practices, & amplifying community voices to form policy & inspire action. ICMC Europe monitors EU migration & asylum policy, advocates through civil society coalitions for rights-based EU policy, & implements EU- & private funded projects on safe & legal pathways, integration & inclusion, & community-led welcome.
