Mission & Goals
The International Authors Forum (IAF) represents over 700,000 authors worldwide and campaigns for their interests in every country. It is the voice of the authors worldwide. IAF campaigns for authors worldwide, both at the international and national levels. Taking part in WIPO and UNESCO it ensures authors are heard at the international level and it supports authors with issues they face whether they are global or local. IAF acts as an international platform, enabling its members to connect with each other develop their positions and receive support on authors' rights. IAF engages with its members by assisting them in their fight for better authors’ conditions in their respective countries and promoting their campaigns through the IAF newsletter, news page and social media. IAF collaborates with organisations that work to represent authors rights and interests to drive campaigns at the international level. IAF works in partnership with UN bodies such as WIPO and UNESCO.
