The organization provides comprehensive resources for professionals who want to develop and advance their careers helping organizations successfully manage privacy, AI governance and digital responsibility. The IAPP is an independent professional association, non-advocacy in nature, and policy neutral.
EU Legislative Interests
The IAPP is a non-advocacy n-f-p professional home for privacy, AI governance and digital responsibility globally.. We organize events and conferences in Europe to advance the professions of privacy, AI governance and digital responsibility. We hold several conferences in Europe - our main event being in Brussels - and often invite EU officials or MEPs as guest speakers to our programs. The IAPP also holds trainings and runs professional ISO certification programs for professionals to advance their career. We train and certify on EU legislation content among others. The EU areas of interest are related to policy areas that impact upon the professionals and their organizations such as GDPR, and the EU digital rulebook at large.
Communication Activities
We organize a number of conferences, webinars and other events concerning various aspects of EU policy. Being a neutral, non-policy and non-advocacy association, we do not directly represent interest of our members to the EU institutions.
