Mission & Goals
Inter IKEA Group is the group of companies that connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers and aligns the overall IKEA strategic direction. As of 12 December 2024,13 franchisees operate more than 500 IKEA locations. Franchisees use the IKEA trademark, and importantly, the entire system to operate the IKEA business by marketing and selling the IKEA range and services in the market they operate in. Except IKEA Delft store, all IKEA locations operate under franchise agreements with Inter IKEA Systems B.V. The Public Affairs team advises the company of relevant EU developments and inform decision makers of opportunities and barriers regarding EU policies, all to create a better everyday life for the many people.
