Mission & Goals
Intelligent Transport Systems Romania – ITS Romania is a not for profit, professional association. Our main objective is to promote, coordinate, implement and integrate ITS in Romania, correlated and harmonized at EU level. We also participate in research and consultancy activities.
EU Legislative Interests
Currently, we are targeting the policies related to Multimodal digital mobility services. Overall, we are interested in any legislation or policy related to Intelligent Transport Systems (for all transport modes) and Smart Cities.
Communication Activities
We provided direct information to our members about the EU policies. We regularly update our website with relevant news and events, and we organize every two years a national conference on Intelligent Transport Systems.

We have 1 FTE equivalent paid for tasks related to the activities covered by the register. The others are paid for their work in EU-funded projects and do pro-bono tasks related to activities covered by the register.
