Mission & Goals

The Insurance Association Malta is an association of companies that carry on insurance business in or from Malta. Its principal focus is to provide a meeting place for insurers to exchange information and formulate policy. This enable insurers to formulate common approaches on all matters which affect their business. The Association contributes to the growth of insurance business in Malta by sustaining a healthy environment for its development. By representing the common interests of insurers, the Association is able to promote, defend and speak up for the views of insurers with local and European institutions, as well as with other non-governmental bodies. By focusing on the usefulness of insurance as a means for mitigating losses in daily life, the Association links the interests of insurers with those of customers and society at large.
