Mission & Goals
The Instituto has as fundamental objectives (written in its by-laws) the defence and dissemination of the values of democracy and the study of cultural, social, economic and cultural phenomena concerning Portugal and its intervention in the international community. Over the years the Instituto activities have been diverse to promote political information and debate. Instituto has been an active member on the social, economic and political debates on different political issues, promoting seminars, conferences and studies on said issues.
EU Legislative Interests
No targeted legislative initiatives. On specific policies, it encompasses all that have a political nature, be it economic, social and cultural. Topics associated with the Conference on the Future of Europe, such as healthcare, climate change, digital transformation, science and innovation, the role of women in the future of Europe.
Communication Activities
Starting a series of events on the topics of the conference on the future of Europe. First Future of Europe event will be on the topic of Healthcare named: (“The Future of Europe: Healthcare”).
