Mission & Goals
IT is a private, not-for-profit organization, an association of nine institutions with experience in research and development in the field of Telecommunications. IT main mission is to create and disseminate new knowledge and to contribute to advanced training in the field of Information and Communication Technologies, with a particular emphasis on Telecommunications. In addition, IT also aims at transferring technology to the national and international industry, thus paving the way to the setting up of start-ups using IT created technology. Finally, IT also aims at responding to societal challenges and contributing to public policies. To a lesser extent, IT also provides specialised consulting and engineering services in the field of telecommunications on a non-competing basis.
