Mission & Goals

IIGCC is an organisation that works with institutional investors, bringing the investment community together to navigate the risks and opportunities of the transition and support progress towards a net zero and climate resilient future. IIGCC works with close to 400 members to address climate-related financial risk and ensure they are each well-positioned to make the most of investment opportunities offered by climate mitigation and adaptation efforts. Through our leading work, we help investors to navigate implementation of climate considerations in their individual portfolios, advocate for a more supportive policy environment, and provide them with the tools to undertake effective stewardship and engagement with companies, and the wider market. Our policy work in particular helps shape sustainable finance, sectoral policies and global climate initiatives in line with investors’ needs.
