Founded in 2015, Državljan D / Citizen D is a pioneering organization dedicated to advancing and safeguarding human rights in the digital age. With a steadfast commitment to enhancing digital rights, promoting nuanced media literacy, and upholding core human rights, the organization actively champions these values through diverse, targeted initiatives. Internationally, Državljan D / Citizen D is recognized as one of Slovenia’s foremost voices on digital human rights. Distinguished as the first full-time member of EDRi (European Digital Rights), the organization consistently collaborates with leading researchers, campaigners, and activists around the globe, reinforcing its leadership in the digital human rights arena.
