Mission & Goals
Specialist in translating complex scientific and technological advancements into clear, actionable policy recommendations and real-world applications for decision-makers. My expertise lies in identifying synergies between research, industry, and government, fostering cross-sector collaboration to deliver tangible policy outcomes. With a deep understanding of knowledge translation, I help bridge the gap between science, technology, and policy, ensuring that research and innovation inform effective governance, balanced regulation, and practical public sector decision-making.
EU Legislative Interests
My main objectives in terms of policy are two fold: (1) Influencing the EU's research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe, particularly in terms of the dissemination of evidence generated from this programme to a wider audience both within and external to the EU. (2) Influencing the EU’s new economic foreign policy by promoting mutually beneficial partnerships particularly in the areas of science, technology, innovation, telecommunications, energy, climate, environment, natural resources, agriculture and health. And finally, utilising (1) & (2) above to support the development of more active peace promotion initiatives outside the EU as well as a stronger geopolitical positioning of the EU as a block.
