Mission & Goals
The purpose of ITxPT is to support the deployment of standards and practices for on-board "plug-and-play" IT-systems for public transport and the relevant back-office features. Through the development, maintenance and evolution of these standards and practices, ITxPT seeks to stimulate integrated and standardized mobility services to the citizens, sustainable mobility for all, full interoperability between different IT systems and solutions, and to enhance the cost efficiency of IT systems and their deployment, while safeguarding openness and constant competition on the IT for public transport market.
