Mission & Goals
The IRG is the body responsible for: - promoting the exchange of best practices among NRAs. - supporting the implementation and enforcement by its members of the telecommunications regulatory framework. - fostering development and the exchange of information. - ensuring an optimal level of consumer protection and maintaining competition in the sector. - fostering implementation telecoms regulation such as for example the Code (EECC) and the BEREC Regulation.
EU Legislative Interests
IRG is interested in many different files ranging from telecoms- specific sectoral regulations ( EECC, BBCRD, Spectrum, List of relevant markets, ePrivacy, Open Internet, EMFF/health issues) to digital and strategic ones given the role expected from the digital matters as an enabler (DMA, DSA, IoT, EU Foresight, EU digital decade, AI ...).
