Mission & Goals

Incommon is a civil, non-profit organisation established in 2016 in Greece, dedicated to promote Circular Economy by activating citizens, schools, institutions, businesses and local actors. Its main objective is to contribute to addressing key environmental and social challenges through inclusive, participatory and community-based practices. Incommon adopts a holistic and interdisciplinary approach that considers environmental, social, economic and educational dimensions. Using tools such as participatory design and the "inform-involve-engage" methodology, it fosters social cohesion, inclusion, education and active citizenship. By supporting communities to identify needs and co-create solutions, incommon empowers individuals to engage in the circular transition. With a multidisciplinary team, the organisation facilitates EU and national projects that promote sustainable practices, resource preservation and local resilience across urban and rural settings.
