Mission & Goals

EU Legislative Interests
Inclusive Europe (INEU) primarily engages with EU policies and legislative initiatives that promote social inclusion, equality, intercultural dialogue, and fundamental rights within the European Union. In particular, INEU follows and contributes to the development and implementation of: EU policies on social inclusion and equality, including initiatives under the European Pillar of Social Rights, the EU Anti-Racism Action Plan (2020–2025), the Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025, and the EU Roma Strategic Framework for Equality, Inclusion and Participation. Education and integration policies, such as the European Education Area, European Skills Agenda, and Action Plan on Integration and Inclusion (2021–2027). Fundamental rights and anti-discrimination legislation, notably the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, the Racial Equality Directive (2000/43/EC), and the Employment Equality Directive (2000/78/EC). Cultural and intercultural dialogue initiatives, aligned with the Council of Europe’s Framework Convention on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society (Faro Convention) and EU programmes supporting intercultural, interreligious, and intergenerational dialogue. EU security and cohesion policies addressing radicalisation prevention, social resilience, and community trust-building, particularly in the context of the EU Security Union Strategy (2020–2025). Through research, advocacy, education, and partnerships with academic and civil-society actors, INEU contributes to EU policy debates, funding programmes, and public consultations that foster inclusive, cohesive, and resilient European societies.
Communication Activities
Inclusive Europe (INEU) regularly organises and contributes to events, trainings, and publications promoting EU values of inclusion, equality, and fundamental rights. Activities include: Conferences, policy roundtables, and workshops on social inclusion, anti-discrimination, intercultural and interfaith dialogue, often co-organised with EU-funded networks, universities, and civil-society partners. Awareness-raising campaigns addressing gender equality, anti-racism, youth participation, and the prevention of radicalisation and hate speech in Europe. Educational and research publications, including policy briefs, reports, and digital materials supporting EU integration and inclusion policies. Youth and citizen engagement initiatives, such as intercultural exchanges, volunteering activities, and EU-project dissemination events promoting civic participation and European identity. Online communication and dissemination, through INEU’s website (www.inclusiveeuropa.eu ), newsletters, and social media channels to share good practices and EU-funded project results. These activities contribute to building inclusive, cohesive, and democratic European societies in line with EU priorities on equality, education, and social cohesion.

Member Of
Inclusive Europe (INEU) is an independent non-profit organisation based in Belgium and cooperates with several European civil society networks and dialogue platforms that share similar objectives. INEU is an associate partner of: Intercultural Dialogue Platform (IDP), Belgium Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN) of the European Commission (as a civil-society participant) INEU also collaborates with universities, think tanks, and NGOs across Europe in EU-funded consortia under Horizon Europe programme.
