Mission & Goals
Based in Brussels, Impact Europe formed as EVPA in 2004 as a non-profit, membership association gathering organisations focused on venture philanthropy (VP) and social investment (SI). As the field evolved, EVPA has become 'Impact Europe' encompassing organisations interested in impact investing. Despite this change, Impact Europe's north start remains investing for impact, guided by intentionality, additionality, and measurability. Our mission is to enable European-based capital providers to accelerate positive and lasting social and environmental change at scale through increased resources, collaboration, expertise and facilitating an enabling policy framework. Today, we gather almost 350 members and partners from 30 countries, mainly based in Europe. Our diverse community includes social impact funds, grant-making foundations, private equity and professional service firms, financial institutions, philanthropy advisors, banks and business schools.
