Mission & Goals

Imerys is the world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, with 12,300 employees located in 40 countries and €3.4 billion in sales in 2025. Imerys delivers high value-added, functional solutions to a wide variety of industries and draws on its understanding of applications, technological knowledge and expertise in material science to deliver solutions by beneficiating its mineral resources, synthetic minerals and formulations. Imerys’ solutions boost the performance of a very large number of applications, split into three categories: functional additives, mineral components and process enablers. The Group pursues a number of ambitious goals to achieve responsible growth, with respect to labor, environment, business conduct and governance and is committed to playing a role in society, meeting its obligations to the countries and communities in which it does business, and implementing responsible and sustainable environment stewardship practices.

EU Legislative Interests

Imerys follows the activities of the EU institutions principally related to raw materials, resources efficiency, climate change & emission trading scheme (ETS), reporting of minerals resources & reserves, health and safety, circular economy, environment, product stewardship, innovation and industrial policy.

Imerys does not directly engage in communication activities related to the EU policies above. However, Imerys may participate on occasion in communication activities initiated by professional associations.
