Mission & Goals
I&A LLC is a privately-owned industrial company based in Lipjan, Kosovo, focused on establishing a state-of-the-art glass manufacturing facility. Our goal is to strengthen the Western Balkans’ industrial capacity by utilizing local raw materials (notably quartz sand reserves), promoting clean energy integration, creating long-term employment, and producing export-quality structural and flat glass. We aim to become a regional industrial leader and a reliable supplier within the EU value chain. The company is committed to sustainable practices, energy efficiency, and alignment with the EU Green Deal priorities.
EU Legislative Interests
The project directly aligns with the European Green Deal and the EU Industrial Strategy by promoting sustainable industrial production, decarbonisation of manufacturing, and circular economy principles. It supports the EU’s objectives under the Fit for 55 Package, the Renewable Energy Directive (RED II & III), and the Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials policies. Additionally, it contributes to the enlargement-related pre-accession frameworks under IPA III and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, by enhancing local value chains, reducing imports, and improving the region’s alignment with EU environmental and industrial standards.
Communication Activities
Communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.) related to the EU policies above: The applicant plans public communication and outreach aligned with EU priorities through: – Awareness campaigns on clean energy and circular economy for industrial stakeholders in Kosovo – Local-level roundtables with municipalities and chambers of commerce on green transition and export readiness – Publication of environmental and energy efficiency impact reports during implementation – Digital updates (website, social media) on alignment with EU Green Deal milestones These activities aim to reinforce public-private collaboration and demonstrate compliance with EU policy targets and transparency guidelines during project execution.
