Mission & Goals
We represent the European scientific community involved in the development of a new, industrial ecosystem based on hydrogen and committed to moving towards a circular, carbon-neutral economy. Our objective is to align the European R&D community and represent it as a whole. With more than 160 members, covering a wide range of competences and infrastructures, Hydrogen Europe Research actively promotes scientific excellence, intellectual property development and technology transfer in Europe. At the ame we play as a reference organization at the international scale with mandate from the European Commission and formal agreement of collaboration with the Clean Hydrogen Mission.
EU Legislative Interests
Hydrogen Europe Research represents the interests of European universities and research institutes in the Clean Hydrogen Partnership of Horizon Europe and on the European stage. Files of interests include the European Research Framework Programme, ERA, Critical Raw Materials, RED III, AFIR, RefuelEU, FuelEU Maritime, REPowerEU, SET Plan, CBAM, Gas Package, etc.
