Mission & Goals
Hurd empowers employees to act on climate change from within organisations, addressing the gap between corporate sustainability goals and workforce engagement. Our free, philanthropically funded digital platform combines role-specific microlearning, an interactive scrollable feed, and a peer-supported community to build habits of climate action. Hurd uses behavioural science to create lasting habits, strengthening employee resilience and agency in the workplace. It generates anonymised insights on confidence, readiness, and wellbeing, providing organisations and policymakers with real-time, human-centred intelligence. With over 70,000 downloads across 86 countries, Hurd aims to scale globally and expand multilingual content. It seeks to accelerate a bottom-up, workforce-driven movement, inform evidence-based policy and corporate climate strategies, and address emerging challenges such as climate misinformation, heat, and workplace wellbeing.
