HPZ Holz-Paletten-Zentrum GmbH is a leading German provider of high-quality load carriers and logistics solutions. With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in the production, repair, and distribution of pallets, including Europaletten, CP pallets, and Düsseldorf half-pallets. Our services include transport, rental, sorting, drying, and recycling, delivered through innovative technologies and a strong focus on sustainability. Certified under DIN ISO 9001:2008, HPZ ensures consistent quality and efficiency in supply chain processes. Operating from four strategic locations across Germany, we serve a diverse customer base, from SMEs to international corporations, aiming to optimize logistics and promote environmentally responsible practices.
EU Legislative Interests
HPZ want to target EU policies and legislative proposals related to packaging and packaging waste (PPWR), circular economy, sustainable product regulation, transport and logistics strategy, and the EU Green Deal. The company follows regulatory developments affecting wooden pallets, recycling and reuse systems, timber sourcing and treatment, and digital product passports. We are particularly engaged in initiatives under the Circular Economy Action Plan, Sustainable Products Initiative, and Fit for 55 package, as well as policies promoting efficient and low-carbon logistics. HPZ also monitors standardization efforts and compliance frameworks relevant to pallet pooling, repair, and traceability.
Communication Activities
HPZ want to participates in industry conferences, trade fairs, and stakeholder workshops related to logistics, circular economy, and sustainable packaging within the EU. We engage in dialogue with partners and clients to promote awareness of EU initiatives such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and sustainable transport policies. HPZ shares relevant updates, regulatory impacts, and best practices through our website and targeted B2B communications. We also contribute to consultations and surveys initiated by EU institutions and collaborate with industry networks to support harmonized pallet standards and circular logistics solutions.

HPE (Bundesverband Holzpackmittel, Paletten, Exportverpackung e.V.) – The German Federal Association for Wooden Packaging, Pallets, and Export Packaging. FEFPEB (European Federation of Wooden Pallet & Packaging Manufacturers) – Representing European manufacturers of wooden pallets and packaging, promoting sustainable practices and standardization.
