HAN's Mission HAN University of Applied Sciences offers students high quality education set in an inspiring, entrepreneurial and innovative environment. - Vereniging Hogescholen (https://www.vereniginghogescholen.nl/) The Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences [Vereniging Hogescholen] brings together all government-funded Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. 39 Universities of Applied Sciences are affiliated to the Association. Together they have over 38,000 employees and over 400,000 students. The Vereniging Hogescholen focuses on strengthening the social position of Universities of Applied Sciences. To this end it maintains contacts with a broad range of people and organisations. For contacts both inside and outside the association, the VH is the knowledge centre for applied sciences. The social position of the Universities of Applied Sciences is strengthened through the transferral of knowledge about higher education and by providing information. For the Universities of Applied Sciences the Vereniging Hogescholen (VH) is an excellent platform for collaboration. The VH functions also as an employers' organisation on their behalf. - UASNL (https://www.uasnl.eu/) We are a member of UASNL, 22 Dutch UAS with the mission to stimulate applied and practice based research and mobility to find answers and tackle societal problems/issues and to innovate towards solutions and results. - UP University (https://upuniversity.eu/) UP University is an alliance of 11 universities and universities of applied sciences strategically positioned in mid-sized, non-capital cities across the four corners of Europe and deeply embedded in their regional ecosystems. The UP consortium partners support over 125.000 learners per year, with numbers ranging from 3.000 to 30.000 across individual institutions. Together, we offer a full range of programmes from associate degree up to bachelor, master and PD/PhD, in 13 different languages in addition to English. - Think East Netherlands (https://thinkeast.nl/) In East Netherlands, we are working together on innovative solutions for a healthy and sustainable future for all. The plans are summarised in the The East Netherlands Innovation Agenda. We are working on this from the Think East Netherlands platform. Knowledge institutions, Economic Boards, provinces Gelderland and Overijssel, regions, cluster organisations and (umbrella) organisations are investing in innovations in the fields of safe and sustainable food, healthcare, digitalisation, clean energy and circular economy.
