Mission & Goals
Höegh Evi is a global maritime energy infrastructure provider, specialising in the development and operation of floating terminals for natural gas, ammonia, and hydrogen import, as well as carbon transport and permanent storage. Höegh Evi’s primary objective is to develop and operate floating infrastructure that enables the efficient and reliable supply of low-carbon energy, contributing to energy security and transition.
EU Legislative Interests
Höegh Evi is interested in discussing proposals or policies that aim to: enhance the EU's energy security, promote the adoption of renewable energy sources, and facilitate the development of infrastructure necessary for the energy transition. Relevant policies to our interests include: REPowerEU, the Hydrogen and Decarbonised Gas Market Package, the EU Strategy for Energy System Integration, Regulation on the Trans-European Energy Networks (TEN-E), and Directive on the Geological Storage of Carbon Dioxide as well as Legislative initiative on CO2 transportation infrastructure and markets, as well as general regulatory considerations for carbon transport and storage networks.
Communication Activities
Meetings with Commission members and Members of Parliament to discuss carbon transport and storage regulations, and submitted feedback in the Call for evidence for an impact assessment on the Legislative initiative on CO2 transportation infrastructure and markets - Ares(2025)6250488. Also submitted feedback in the Call for evidence for an impact assessment on energy security frameworks - Ares(2025)7679380.
