Mission & Goals
Hitachi Europe Ltd employs over 400 people in 13 countries across Europe, Africa & the Middle East. Head office is in the UK, and R&D laboratories in London, Cambridge, Copenhagen, Munich, and Sophia-Antipolis. In align with our corporate credo - contributing to society through the development of superior, original technology and products, we engage in the ‘Social Innovation Business’, putting our IT, control, and operational technologies to use in the advanced social infrastructure systems we provide. Through collaborative creation, we are providing solutions in power & semiconductor systems, security and information systems, particle beam therapy systems, digital media & consumer products, industrial components & equipment, procurement & sourcing & Intelligent Fleet Decarbonisation. Hitachi is a Principal Partner of COP26 and strives to achieve carbon neutrality at all its business sites by 2030 & to achieve an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions across the company’s value chain by 2050.
