Mission & Goals
Core Mission & Goal InSoil's primary goal is to fund and support farmers in restoring soil health and transitioning to regenerative agriculture. The organization aims to increase soil carbon, improve agricultural yields, and boost farm profitability while actively combating climate change through CO2 reduction and carbon sequestration. Scope of Activities & Offerings To achieve these goals, InSoil’s remit covers a blend of agricultural technology, climate finance, and scientific monitoring: - Financial Solutions for Farmers - Carbon Farming & High-Quality Carbon Credits - Agronomy Consultations - Connecting Investors with Sustainable Assets Geographical Focus & Partnerships While catering to global carbon markets, your direct operational remit has a strong focus on Europe—particularly in the Baltics, Poland, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.
EU Legislative Interests
Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the Renewable Energy Directive - RED II), which establishes the common framework for the promotion of energy from renewable sources, including sustainability and greenhouse gas emission saving criteria for biofuels. Regulation (EU) 2018/1999 on the Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action, which provides for monitoring and reporting on national renewable energy targets and policies. UAB Heavy Finance is currently working with the EIF throught the InvestEU Guarantee products, specifically the Sustainability Portfolio Guarantee Product, where we received €11.5 million guarantee volume and it has been approved an addtional €50 million volume (agreement yet to be signed).
