Mission & Goals
Gujarat Fluorochemicals GmbH is a Hamburg based wholly-owned subsidiary of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL), an Indian company manufacturing Fluoropolymers and other products. Gujarat Fluorochemicals GmbH imports fluoropolymers manufactured by Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, India and distributes to European clientele. Gujarat Fluorochemicals GmbH is advocating for exemption of Fluoropolymers from the EU PFAS restriction proposal.

Restriction on the manufacture, placing on the market and use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) under EU REACH.
Communication Activities
1. Engagement with Fluoropolymer industry stakeholders (Downstream users, OEMs and trade associations) to bring awareness on the PFAS restriction proposal through conferences and webinars. 2. Engagement with European regulators to share technical data on fluoropolymers. 3. Sharing of videos highlighting importance and critical uses of fluoropolymers, differentiation of fluoropolymers from PFAS of concern, impacts on the society due to potential restriction on fluoropolymers. 4. Development of various technical studies and experimental data in collaboration with other stakeholders and independent consultancies.
